| Modeler's Description | This measure is intended to be used on schedules that have not previously been adjusted for advanced controls. If you run this measure multiple times you will end up with more schedule reduction than is appropriate. The schedules used in the OpenStudio templates have not been adjusted for vacancy controls, so it is appropriate to run them through this measure to simulation their impact on energy use. This measure applies a percentage reduction to the schedules which varies by space types, with many common spaces types seeing no reduction and some space types seeing up to a 15% reduction. |
